HK Day 4

Its the day where we will be setting off to our long awaited disneyland hotel! We checked out from Prudential and decided to take a cab to Kowloon MTR station to take a express service to Disneyland. Guess we were too lazy again, and with a little persuasion from the taxi driver, we decided to take the cab all the way to Disneyland instead. Ok i would say that the price was reasonable and that was why we agreed too.

There was actually a queue to check in to Disneyland Hollywood Hotel, and it wasnt a short one. As the room wouldnt be available till evening, so we cont wif our itinerary to... Citygate!

To me, Citygate is a MUST go in Hong Kong. I bought quite alot there for my family and myself too. I got this red baby polo tee for Lucas, and it cost only S$30+! Mind you its not those chiong one ok! Its all genuine! And i got myself a shirt from the same boutique at a v cheap price too. The best place was definately Club 21 outlet! I had this DKNY pink polo tee which i bought in Singapore cost me abt S$130. Guess how much i got it from Hong Kong? Btw its of the same design, totally same except for the colour thats all. I got it at only less than S$30! I saw this pair of Calvin Klein sandles which i love it completely costing only S$70+, but they do not have my size. I alwaz strangled myself for having small feets! Miss Pang got herself a reversible bag from Kate Spade at a unbelievable price too. So dont u think that Citygate is really a MUST GO!?

After a long day its finally time for us to head back to the hotel. And guess who we saw downstairs our hotel?

HK Day 3

Oh! Welcome back to this blog. So you must have been waiting for awhile for our day 3rendevous. Read on den! And do not forget that you can click on the pics to enlarge it.

We got up early to go to uniqlo at Miramar to get somemore clothes, well mainly for my dad and brother. But of coz i ended up buying some for myself too. haha! We were der too early that its stil not open. So we walked around the mall and taking pics to entertain ourselves for a good 20mins i guess.

Next we headed to Shamlock hotel, which is just opposite the hotel that we were staying, for some dim sum. Once again we ordered too much and we cant fin all. The hongkongers have their own way of cleaning up the utensils. So my gf tried to learn to be a Hongkonger. haha! The meal was fantastic. There's just something special about the dim sum in Hong Kong, i duno y.

After a hearty meal, its time to burn those calories, so its time to start our shopping journey again. And today we are heading to Tsim Sha Tsui. Its really a place to go crazy in. There's so many place to shop, so many that Singapore doesn't have. Dior Homme, Y3, Twist, Joyce, True religion... There's so many that i really cant name out all of them. Dior Homme is definately a MUST GO! Though i didn't get anything there coz the price was stil rather steep, even aft discount. So we just ended up taking fotos in the boutique secretly. Look at those shoes! argghhh! Even Xmas decos there were so nice that we have to take pics of it.

After a long walk at TST, we actually went back to the Twist at Central to get our shoes! Coz the one at TST doesn't have any nice shoes. And next was back to IFC mall again to get my gf's cosmetic. Apparently Singapore doesn't have laura mercier so we totally regretted not getting it the day before. We went back to Miramar to get my Xmas present from my gf as the shop was stil close when we were der in the morning. So finally i got it! It was pretty late by then, and we were starving. So we wanted to try out tis Ramen restaurant at Miramar. But the que was totally crazy that we decided to giv it a miss. So we ended up at . . . Macdonalds! hahaha! Once again they've got the tings that Singapore doesn't... Shrimp burger! haha! On our way back to the hotel, we saw this little stall selling this 鸡蛋仔 and 鱼蛋. So we bought some back!

Some of the damages for the few days.

HK Day 2

So the plan was to cover both Central and Causeway Bay on the 2nd day.

We took a MTR and head down to Central first for our lunch at Yung Kee. Read alot about this restaurant from the forums and positive feedbacks from my colleague. So we decided not to miss it. So i guess as usual we over ordered the food again. I insisted to try the roasted goose meat and my gf chose her fav suckling pig, accompanied by a plate of Hong Kong style braise beancurd. The goose meat is so yummy that i feel lik licking off the empty plate after eating them up. But of coz, there's always a price to pay for such delicious food. It cost us more than S$100 for this lunch.

After a hearty lunch, we had all the energy and power to start our day of shopping. We went into Christian Louboutin, Dmop, twist, Kee wah and CDG. If you were to look at the collage below, you mite be thinking y the hell did i not take a picture of the CDG boutique since there isn't any in Singapore. Oh yes i did. its the picture on the top left hand corner of the below collage. Yes! Im not kidding! Yes i agree that it looks more like a vacant and abandon shop instead. But that's realli the place where i bought my CDG PLAY tee shirt at.

the interior of the shops

After the last few hours spent in Central H&M, we decided to take a cab to IFC mall. And for short distances like that, the fare is rather cheap.

And this is the main reason why we insist on coming to IFC mall and willing to miss out Causeway Bay for our entire trip.

We managed to get a table without reservation for dinner @ le pain grille. Thats pretty lucky. Well, i have to say that the food was just pretty normal, especially for the escargot. We both tink that Ma Maison's tastier. The Crayfish Bisque was ok for the first few sip. But more of it tasted funny. It gives my tongue a little funny feeling. Like a little numbing effect. The main were just so so. So i guess spending about S$150 on this dinner wasn't that worthwhile though.

With that it ended for our Day 2 rendevous. Stay tuned for Day 3!

We took an airport express train to kowloon station then took a cab to the Prudential Hotel.
Well the airport express train was fantastic! it was so fast... crowd free! It took us ard 20mins? to get to Kowloon station.
As u can see frm the pic below i had a gift frm my gf! cos we had a little argument earlier. So she bought my fav spongebob yp surprise me. *beam* Thanz baby! thats v sweet of u :)

This is Prudential hotel, tat we spent 3nights in.

After taking a 30mins rest we headed out to Mong Kok Langham Place. It was extremely crowded at H & M, we queued more than 15-20mins just to try the clothes.

Modern toilet was where we had our stinky dinner. haaa! all their bowls and seats are in the shape of toilet bowls. Hmm food wasnt gd, but edible. We definitely not come bk again for the food. haaa

Had a long day on day one... rushing frm airport to hotel and to shopping mall.
We were exhausted.... gonna rest and get ready for more shopping on day 2!
